Kaplan explains the differences between Bulimia and Anorexia Nervosa, while emphasizing on the seriousness of these life-threatening disorders. Through dramatization, Peter Keefe illustrates the signs and symptoms of Bulimia. Dr. Edward Shorter covers surprising history of Eating Disorders from early anorectic saints to current opinions. Animation allows the viewer to see some of the chemical changes in the brains of Eating Disorder patients, while Susan Rollinson reflects on her constant battle with Anorexia Nervosa, and gives viewers insights into living with any eating disorders.
