Wellness and Life
The term “Wellness” entered our lexicon about a decade ago and it basically means a person’s overall health in the physical, mental, spiritual, social and lifestyle dimensions. It means that each person has the overall challenge of living a complete life with a pro-active approach.
Wellness includes developing a healthy personal philosophy, always staying curious and learning each year. Relationships need to be nurtured, at the workplace and home environment. It is also important to nurture your spirituality and purpose in life, while getting involved in y9our community and environment.
Your “body is your temple” and it requires constant exercise/activity to help ward off sickness and disease. Having a positive attitude, combined with a consistent program for self-evaluation to adjust your dimensions as needed, will help you achieve Wellness.
