Pachelbel Canon CD
The Canon in D contains some of the most beautiful melodic passages ever written. This recording emphasizes the Canon's tranquility, digitally blended with soothing sounds of ocean waves.
"I just wanted to tell you guys about my science project... I'm in the eighth grade and I recently did a science fair experiment o discover what type of classical music is the most relaxing. I used some fast paced stuff, some slow stuff, loud, soft, form the Romantic period, the Baroque Era... you get the idea. At any rate, I got online to find evidence to support my background theories etc. In my experiment, I happened to use Pachelbel's "Canon in D" as one of my variables. Not only did it lower students' pulse rates most as compared to seven other variables (and the cotrol, silence), but on a when asked to state how relaxed they felt on a scale of one to ten (ten being the most relaxed), "Canon" got an average of eight, higher than all the other results... I just thought it was really neat that the only SpEcIfIc song ya'll are selling is the one that relaxed my classmates the most! I'm sorry I put this message in the Ask doc thing, but I didn't know where else to put it. Maybe you can use my experiment results somehow..."
